So a few hours ago I was informed there was a Android 4.4 KitKat leak for the Samsung Galaxy S4. Unfortunately they changed some stuff around and SuperSU stopped working.

A lot of people got phones for xmas ...

My download server has been completely hammered the last few days with requests, so I guess there's a lot of new phones out there that needed rooting. As I was celebrating xmas myself with my family I didn't have a chance to do much about it. I have however made some changes now to the caching mechanisms and such, so the downloads should all be back up.

Minor update to DSLR Controller - v0.99.4

Nothing spectacular in this update. Most noteworthy are that a number of issues with the TL-MR3040 were fixed, so if you're using one (seeĀ http://dslrcontroller.com/guide-wifi_mr3040.php ) you should update the app as well as the TL-MR3040 firmware !

Just updated my old "Android, Datagrams, Broadcast and Multicast" post.

Seems the situation has broken even more than before. A poster-child case why developing apps for Android is a frustrating affair at the best of times.

Just a head up. If you're still on a CWM-based recovery for flashing OTA's, you will need to ...

... disable "secure mode" (which is enabled by default) from the actionbar dropdown menu (the three vertical dots).

Security updates to OpenDelta

OpenDelta received some security-related updates yesterday, which should be rolling out in Omni nightlies as we speak, so tomorrow's nightly update will be its first live test. These updates will allow secure verification of the re-generated (or downloaded) OTA ZIP by TWRP recovery.

Minor update to SuperSU. Fixes some issues - nothing spectacular. Updating is advised as always but no rush :)
