I have just uploaded a new version of CF.lumen to the Play store, which should start updating in a matter of hours. Alternatively, you can grab the latest version directly from the XDA thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711912 ).

While not all issues for 6.0 are fixed yet, the most pressing one is: root driver support.

My thanks to all the beta testers!

(I am aware the box below may say "WARNING: DONT INSTALL...", this is because Play hasn't updated the description yet - and I don't think Google Plus will update the box when it has)

In your description stands: Don't install root driver on Android 5.1

I am running 5.1 on my S6, so I have to deny root access?

And can someone tell me what I can do more in the app with root? :)

+ChainfireGreat work! I love it and I donated as soon as I have installed it. You have done a wonderful job!

Chainfire commented on 2015-10-27 at 22:05:

+Fabian Seitz be sure you're installing v3.15, not v3.00, then you can ignore that notice. In root mode it looks factors better than without root.

Sorry to say its don't work anymore on my G4 5.1 and G flex 2 5.1.1.

3.0 was working great till then uninstalled and installed LUX on both my devices

Azri Rashid commented on 2015-10-28 at 04:31:

on Nexus 4 CM, 5.1.1, the phone will reboot into bootloop after i opened the latest cflumen.

Next I uninstalled the app, and reinstall.

On root mode, it will reboot the device. (using CM's system root)

i disabled root access and it will open the app fine.

i noticed that root mode looks nicer than the non root mode, what kind of details can I provide to help?

No longer working on my Moto X Pure (2015). Installed newest driver, rebooted, but no fileters will apply.

Matthias S. commented on 2015-10-28 at 08:40:

+Azri Rashid if you have cm installed, you don't need cf lumen, its built into cm.

Azri Rashid commented on 2015-10-28 at 08:44:

+Matzen Schiller Live display right? it interferes with an app i use to calibrate the display's colour.

Thing is, Nexus 4 have weird stock screen calibration. Haven't been able to translate the colour settings from Trickster Mod to the LiveDisplay's format.

So i have two apps, one for screen calibration, and cf lumen, instead of using just one, the live display.

I am trying to get the PA_Brighter preset in trickster to be applied in Livedisplay's calibration.

Matthias S. commented on 2015-10-28 at 10:50:

+Azri Rashid well using the day/night display option is meant to fully make the display look different. I don't know what you want to calibrate though.

If you calibrate in cm your daylight colours to make them more colourful, does it destroy the elimination of blue when the live display puts into night mode?

+ChainfireBug Report (critical)

I have activated root access on my Galaxy S6 Android 5.1.1, it rebooted successfully, after the reboot I opened the app and in the settings I have activated the "root mode" (don't remember the exact name), after this my device got crazy, it showed only showed the wallpaper, I could see anything, no app, no recent apps no lockscreen, nothing, I had to reboot and install your app again and now I have denied root again and it's working, but with no root. I hope you could get some information and maybe you know how to fix this, probably it's an issue on touchwiz devices only.

Matthias S. commented on 2015-10-28 at 17:40:

+Fabian Seitz The critical part is "Galaxy S6" ...

Fabian Seitz commented on 2015-10-28 at 18:15:

+Matzen Schiller It is critical that I cant use my phone after activating the option.

The S6 is a wonderful phone, in my opionion its the best flasgship 2015 of all ;) But everyones own opinion..

Chainfire commented on 2015-10-28 at 21:43:

Any issues should go to the XDA thread. I use G+ for announcements only.

I can't find the option to uninstall the driver. Trying to update firmware.

Matthias S. commented on 2015-11-13 at 10:37:

+Mauricio ET switch the driver to non root, make sure to UN-check the Option to start with boot. By the next time you reboot the phone, when deinstall the app, it should be completely gone.

+Chainfire could you set default settings, that cf lumen has not activated "launch on boot"? That would have helped the Samsung guy with its stuck phone.

So if anything happens with the driver, a phone restart will fix it.

When I open the app, it asks for root, and then immediately soft-reboots my Oneplus Two (not a full reboot, as it doesn't ask for my SIM PIN).
