CF-Root v2.2 for SGT

CF-Root is now also available for the Galaxy Tab.

Includes Superuser, Busybox, and a specially patched version of CWM3 for RFS.

Latest version at the time of this writing is 2.2, and is available for JJ, JM, and KA series ROMs.

I am new to Galaxy S, just got it for xmas and am trying to install Darky's Rom, but the instructions say that Android needs Root Access for super user access to system files. (For Froyo 2.2 and 2.2.1)

It states that Pick the CF-Root matching your Firmware Version here
(take the v1.17 Busybox Version).

I have got Samsung Galaxy Tab 1010 (SGT1010).My Firmware version is "XWKB8",but I couldn't find suitable CF-Root tar file.Can you help me about that issue or can I install CF-Root related to Froyo busybox 1.3 ?

I don't have an 1010-specific kernel, as I only have a P1000.

firstly, thanks very much for your dev work particularly on Samsung kernels, it's amazing.
I have just bought a 2nd hand SGT. I messed about with it on the first day and managed to get into quite a lot of trouble, including the phone/triangle/pc screen and the kernel upload panic mode.
I fixed it using an older stock ROM from Samfirmware and a matching kernel (2.6.32.9 root@SE-S611 #1).
I am now trying to get Kies to update to 2.3.3 but Kies says that my version of the SGT is not available for update. I think it is because I am not using a stock Kernel. What do you think? If so, where can I find a stock Kernel for PDA - P1000XWJJ7, Phone - P1000XXJK5, CSC - P1000XXJK2
I would appreciate any help you can offer.

Is there no one that can give us newbies a clue about how to pick the CF-Root file. There are those above here and then mine is a
P1000NUBJM2 Kernel Ver.2.6.32.9 Roo@SEi-27#1
Froyo. VFJM2 Firmware 2.2
and after looking at the list I am more confused. I already bricked on Galaxy Tab 7 so help me get this damn thing Rooted without any more bad choices.
